Brooks, Alberta – Introducing the Brooks, Alberta LIVE Streaming Weather Webcam.  Now when you want to check in on the weather in Brooks you can not only look at the temperature,  now you can take a live view of a street in the heart of the city.

Video streams to viewers based on the connection speed but under normal conditions video will stream at the rate of 3 frames per second.  We have used a format that will work on all devices including the iPad.

In the future we plan to add additional webcams around the City of Brooks.

At the time this blog was posted the camera was pointing south on 1st Street East.  In the far distance you can see the football field north of the Brooks Junior High School.

Emerson Bridge Park is located in the County of Newell No. 4 north of the TransCanada Highway in the gorgeous Red Deer River valley. Emerson Bridge has a total of 60 spacious, well-treed and secluded camping spots available. In the spring of 2009 power connections were installed at 30 sites. In the later spring of 2009 a brand new shower and washroom facility will be opened at the park featuring running water and flush toilets. Over $500,000.00 worth of imporvements were made to the park since the fall of 2008.
